I'm Trym, and I've built a couple of Framer templates over the years. The Framer template community is home to some incredibly talented designers and developers, and as Framer keeps growing, so does the use of templates.

We've all come across websites in the wild that are beautiful and memorable, that makes you wonder how it was made. Sometimes you can tell that a site started from a template, but figuring out which one isn't always that easy. especially after the design has been customized and content has been changed.

I've tried to solve this with TemplateDex.

The database is still growing, and no detection system is perfect. Some templates are closely related, some sites have been heavily rebuilt, and occasionally there simply isn't enough of the original template left to identify it confidently. But as more templates are indexed, the results should keep getting better.
