Privacy

I built this as a helpful tool, not to collect tons of data from you. However, I have implemented lightweight analytics to improve the site. Disclaimer: I am terrible at writing these, so I've had help from AI laying this out!

Website scans

When you submit a URL, the site is fetched by our server so it can be analyzed and compared against our template index. Submitted URLs are not intentionally stored in our database or used to build advertising profiles. They are processed for the purpose of returning your scan result. Like most web services, our hosting provider may temporarily process technical information such as IP addresses, request logs, and timestamps as part of operating and securing the service.

Analytics

We use lightweight analytics to understand how the product is being used and where it can be improved. This may include things like: how many people visit the site how often scans are started whether a scan finds a match which features are being used general device, browser, and country-level information The goal is to understand the product, not individual users. We don't use analytics data to build advertising profiles or sell personal information.

Cookies

We try to keep cookies and tracking to a minimum. If the analytics tools we use don't require cookies, we won't set analytics cookies. If this changes in the future, this page will be updated accordingly.

Third-party services

The site relies on third-party infrastructure to operate, such as hosting, database, and analytics providers. These services may process limited technical data as necessary to provide their services. We only aim to use services that are appropriate for the data they need to process.
